In such a short period of our lives, our bodies go through the most they ever will, to grow and create a perfect little human. For once, your body is not your own, you have two hearts beating inside you, as you nurture and carry, often to the detriment of our own bodies. This magnificent achievement needs to be recognized, celebrated, and remembered. A lot of pregnancy is not beautiful (sickness, heartburn, hip pain, insomnia, the constant need to pee), but what it is, and how our bodies change, is beautiful.
